This beer has a very foul smell out of the bottle. Very watered down light beer, has a bit of a funky aftertaste. The negro is much better.

[Bottle] A beer that they made due to thats all they know to make. The color was to class and stayle and this tasted all right just not my fav. Wish it could have been better. No hop flavor at all. Clear bottle hello do you know what skunks smell like?

From a 12 oz. distinctive shaped stubby Modelo clear bottle with a gold foil wrapped neck and no freshness date. Made a decent appearance, pour a clear orange hued golden with a small fluffy white head that reduced to minimally sticking bubbly thin lacing. Had a nice aroma for a macro lager, a sweet grainy maltiness and lemony hops in the background. Good carbonation and a slick, smooth light bodied mouth feel, above average drinkability. Had a cereal grainy maltiness, slightly sweet, a smooth, gentle hop bitterness and a dry, crisp grainy finish.

Golden under fast white with a hint of carbonation. Bland, grainy/corny aroma/flavor with light sweetness. On par with some of the other fine Mexican lagers I’ve sampled recently, which have little value aside from quelling the spiciness of a Mexican meal. Not bad, just not much of anything.

Weak, tepid, watered-down and flavorless...except for some corn adjuncts, light hint of malts, and tiniest tingle of faint hop bitterness.

If you still drink Corona instead of this you are retarded. Great simple mexican good for warm weather. I have to have this or Negra when my family goes out for mexican. Along w/ a shot of the best tequila known to man. Sauza Tres Generaciones Anejo. I’m partial to mexican beer. By the way this is some of the best beer you can get in a can. Flavor wise little bitey full flavor (for Mexican brew) very smooth.

Clear gold appearance in the clear bottle (which is a bad idea) The aroma is of other skunky mexican pale lagers along with the taste. It is better than Corona, but not by very much.
