| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jan 23, 2006 Bottle - look of an American Standard, but a touch darker. White head. Some malt and some corn in the aroma, but the aroma is actually quite minimal. The flavor is mild, but good. Almost like Budweiser, but without the skunkiness. No real hops to be found. Mouthfeel is medium to a tad thin. I’m not a real fan of Mexican beers, but getting away from Corona I’m finding that some are passable. This is one of those. hayduke (1629), Eureka, California, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jan 8, 2006 Bottle. Sweet and malty with some corn. A little skunky with a little more hop bitterness than Corona. Fat bottom bottles are hard to tip over, making them handy as you get really drunk. Washed down Mexican party snacks with ease. Better with a lime wedge in bottle. Oh, I forgot to mention color-piss yellow, of course. trafford (171), Germantown, Tennessee, USA

It could be nostagia or maybe I just like the sweet malty taste while eating hot food... I think it is better than Corona but not Sol

Truly not a good beer. Perhaps with lime and salsa it may be tolerable.
