ben4321 (948), Rockville, Maryland, USA Jul 1, 2009 Overall Impression:
Very similar to its pale Mexican lager brethren, it’s another one best enjoyed on a hot day, otherwise, I’d just grab the Negra version... daniele (1640), Italy Jun 30, 2009 giallo poca schiuma poco persitente il naso cereale zucchero in bocca boh acqua cereali luppolo è un lontano ricordo jbye4334 (652), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Jun 25, 2009 (bottle). Pours a clear golden/amber color. Spare white head which diminished instantly. Light grainy aroma and flavor. Short duration. No lacing. Soft carbonation. mcdav2154 (289), Germany Jun 18, 2009 Aroma was skunky. Head was short and had a straw colored body. Taste wasn’t anything special. Average lager. Bullit (1300), Glasgow, Scotland Jun 16, 2009 Bottle, The Cave. Light golden brew, white head. Just a regular lager. A bit metallic and dry. delnoche (210), Germany Jun 12, 2009 12fl oz bottle poured into a dimpled mug. Clear golden with a tiny white head. Aroma is skunk at first. After the head dissipates, it smells like corn. The flavor is also corn and hops. Medium to high carbonation. Short bitter finish. Stellaaaa (57), Tennessee, USA Jun 12, 2009 Pours with little head. The aroma is a bit corny but not too strong. The taste is slightly corny as well, but mostly just barley and maybe a touch of rice (though less than its American macro counterparts). It has a watery, light mouthfeel and finishes slightly bitter. Overall, it’s a small notch above an American macro, but it’s still nothing to write home about. nickd717 (1276), Palo Alto, California, USA Jun 9, 2009 Can. Another bland, boring macro lager. Pale urine-like color with a fizzy white head. Grainy aroma and flavor with a little corn. Light on the palate. Drinkable but a bit unpleasant.
