Bottle. Pours yellow. Not much in the way of aroma. Nice, smooth taste that is fairly light. Althoguh nothing spectacular, it will always be one of my favorites, since it was one of the first beers I ever tasted.

It’s hard to give this the rating it deserves based on aroma, flavor, etc. Especial is not daring, interesting, original, or particularly flavorful. However, for what it is, it is really good. Just a light lager. Nice, mild flavor. Much better than its peers (e.g. Corona, Sol, Dos Equis). Perfectly refreshing on a hot day, especially on the beach, and ideal for a real michelada. In the world of low on flavor lagers, this is easily my favorite (really the only one I actually enjoy), and great for making beer-based drinks. Have this on a hot, humid day in Guadalajara, and you’ll probably appreciate it.

~Pours clear golden color with airy foam white head. ~Aroma of malts, light hops, and mild sour hay. ~Flavor of watered down sweet bread. Not too bad really. Refreshing. ~Light watery feel. Clean finish. ~Not a bad pale lager, Good for what it is. I dont think this really has 6% alc. Bottle doesnt say though.

Bottle from Cosmic Cantina, and consumed with Mexican food, which is probably ideal. Also had just gone for a run and ridden my bike to the cantina, so clear watery beer was sounding pretty good. Clear golden with not much of a white head. Took a sniff and a sip before adding lime and was not offended. Grassy, a bit sweet. Not overly metallic like some Mexican beers. Added the lime and drank pretty quickly. Solid for what it is.

2009 Bottle - Poursdk yellow with a medium frothy white head...aroma is typical mex fare, grassy malt and corn, bit o lager skunk...flavour is suprisingly smooth, malty grain, light and refreshing...nowhere near as bad as I expected...

Crushed with Jakebra. Meh. Better than the average Mex pee. Surprisingly smooth for it being pee and all. Chlorine, some lime residue (thanks to the bartender), some poop all around. Could be a lot worse.

24oz can... 30 cents more than a Bud tall-boy and well worth the upgrade. Lightly metallic, corny, doughy, and grassy aroma. The flavor has watery pale malt, corn flakes, light herbal hops, and a tangy finish. Thin and highly carbonated. As long as this stays cold, it is definitely doable, but by the time you finish a tall can this is probably not the case. Definitely around the middle of the Maxican macro lagers.
