Medium golden in color with tremendous clarity, the carbonation bubbles start very small and slow-moving at the bottom of the glass, gaining both size and speed as they rise toward the half-inch-tall, snow white head. Retention seems decent so far and there’s even some lace on the glass too. I can’t lavish so much love on the flavor though because while this isn’t bad for a Mexican lager, it’s still not something I’m enjoying that much. The beer actually tastes malty to me, though it also seems a little corny as well. A hint of hops is there as well, but the problem here, as it seems to be with most of these Mexican lagers, is the unnecessary sweetness that leaves me with a stale aftertaste after several sips. Only mild sweetness in the nose, some generic "pale lager" maltiness. Body is light and carbonation is about average. Probably one of the better Mexican pale lagers out there, but don’t expect me to rush out and buy a sixer now. Gusler (2655), Tucson, Arizona, USA

Nose is malt, the start sweet, the top thin, the finish is dry, acidic, lightly hopped, quite forgetable. Aurelius (2655), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

Clear, light brown orange body with a long-lasting creamy white head. Fruity straw hops flavour has a lot of hay. Medium body. Fair beer, nothing special after all.

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jan 4, 2009 12 oz. bottle for $1.79 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a clear, delightfully golden body with a foamy, white head.
Smell: Lightly skunked nose with notes of grain husks and cooked corn.
Taste: Husky grains and maize with a light cereal sweetness. Tiny, tiny bit of sourness. Light hop bitterness is sufficient enough to give this beer a dry finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied, but thankfully lacks the wateriness of its brethren. Medium-plus carbonation.
Drinkability: No outright hideous, but, if you find yourself in a Mexican restaurant and need a beer, I’d sooner reach for a Negra Modelo. Bockyhorsey (2561), Mesa, Arizona, USA

So only distint aroma was lime. Golden color body with white head. Awefull taste after poured in glass. Squit some lime in it and your back to lime flavor. Well I needed something to wash down the chips and salsa. Better than Corona. dwyerpg (2553), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
