Bitter beer; I did not like it. Everything about it was bitter and it did not entice me to have another.

Straw color with thing sudsy white head. Sweet malt aroma. Flavor is not bad for this style of beer. Slightly crisp and sweet. A little caramel a little yeasty. Drinkable, its no negra though.

I had this in a can on my AeroMexico flight to Cancun. Wow, this is truly boring! Just yellow and fizzy.Lightly malty, very thin. Like beer-flavored water. Why bother?

Can - 355ml. Limpid golden body with good carbonation and a thick, diminishing white foamy head. Fair malty/hoppy aroma with bready notes. Taste, however, is absolutely watery and carries some bad metallic and chemical hints. Finish is non-existent. Typical Latin American Lager.

There is definitely something distinct about Mexican beers. They have a "lime-nes" to each and every one of them. Modelo Especialo is an example. It went great with a burrito but my guess is it would not work with a football game.

12oz bottle. Pours a bright gold color with a brilliant white fluffy head. Nose is light corn, syrup and honey, grass, overall freshness. Palate is very carbonated and tingly. Note of corn and grass, some light sweetness and a finish of crispness and light bitterness.

Bottled. Pretty much water with some beer flavoring. Still marginally better than Corona.
