I could smell the skunk as soon as I opened the bottle. Poured yellow with a lot of fizz and little head. Just a bad taste that got worse as it sat on the palate....not good at all and I ended up pouring it down the sink.

Pours pale gold with a 1 finger quickly fading white head. Aroma is sweet malt, a little corn, grass and a little skunkiness. Flavor was about the same. Palate is thin with a watery feel and neutral finish. Overall it’s a mexican pale lager, can’t expect much, but it is better than many that fit that bill.

usually i love to trash this type beer, but i am in a good mood now. so, i’d say that this is smooth and easy drinking.

Light body and aroma, sweet and very light hops, corn and grainy but not severely skunked just boring as crap. Sucked back at my sister’s bar in Cozumel. Burp

Can. I had tried this beer in the bottle and found it incredibly "skunky" and hardly drinkable. After learning about how UV light can damage beer packaged in clear or green glass, I decided to retry this one in the can... It pours a light yellow with a small, fizzy, white head that quickly diminished. It has a very mild yeasty or bread-like aroma. Flavor is typically neutral with very little hop or malt character at all, and the palate is watery and fizzy. This drinks just like an American macro offering only much cleaner and without any real aftertaste. This is a lager that could act as training wheels for weaning your Bud-drinking friends off of the "King" and towards something outside their box. Hey, most Americans are so bad at geography, that if you can get them to go to a Mexican beer, a Belgian isn’t too much of a leap. Tell them Belgium is in Central America, just south of Guatemala. If they think Bud is good stuff, they’ll buy anything. ;)

Blah ... not much happening here. Deep golden color, but very little taste at all.

Pours a golden color with a white head. Slightly skunky aroma with some earth tones. Flavor is similar if you can find a flavor. Not good.
