Poured from 12 oz. bottle into glass mug. Pours a medium clear sparkling yellow color with a very small white fizzy head with minimal lacing that dissipates quickly. Smells of faint grain/hay, with slight citrus & grass odor. Initial flavor is very light cereal with a slight acidic taste, with a short sour/bitter finish. Body is very light with a watery texture and soft carbonation that diminishes in a couple of minutes, becoming fairly flat. Fairly uninspired - would best be served cold on a hot day.

At a newly minted Mexican restaurant in Milwaukee, I was served a few tappers of Modelo. They fit the chile rellenos, beans, rice and chips perfectly.

Mexican Pee color with the smell of a cheap grainy lager. Taste is cheap and grainy as well. Thin watery sub par lager. Nope not going to go for this one again.

Bottle Nothing special, pales in comparison with much better brews ( pun intended). A step above Miller Lite, but not too much. In a storm, the port you would approach (but otherwise not). Not a road I will travel again gladly.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pale gold in colour with a white head. Aroma is a touch malty, with floral and grain notes. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Light body. OK.

From a 24 oz can. Pours a dark straw with nice carbonation and a lingering head. Virtually no nose. Slight bitter taste, no real discernible flavors. Finishes smooth. Better than water or Bud, but definitely not a Belgian quad! Good for a hot AZ summer day.

[1/31/16] Can sample at a hotel lobby bottle share during RBWG 2016 in Santa Rosa. Golden. Grainy aroma. Sweetish grainy flavor with a paper note and a slightly bitterish finish. Light-bodied.

From notes, 5 years old! Enjoyed this ice cold with some beef stew. Thought it was a typical mexican lager with nothing really special about it but quaffable.

Drinking from a 33cl bottle. Malty aroma. The clear golden beer has a small to no white head. In the taste grains. Medium carbonated.
