1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Poured from 12 oz. bottle into glass mug. Pours a medium clear sparkling yellow color with a very small white fizzy head with minimal lacing that dissipates quickly. Smells of faint grain/hay, with slight citrus & grass odor. Initial flavor is very light cereal with a slight acidic taste, with a short sour/bitter finish. Body is very light with a watery texture and soft carbonation that diminishes in a couple of minutes, becoming fairly flat. Fairly uninspired - would best be served cold on a hot day.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Gold, ’oily’ pour. Touch of sweet caramel, slightly sticky mouthfeel. Minimal hops. It’s smooth and thirst quenching (I guess?), but not much of an actual beer. I suppose it could’ve been offensively flavoured, which it’s not, so I’ll be kind.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Malty, sweet, golden with a good white head, light body, medium carbonation, malty...better than many industrial beers.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: SEP 23, 2016 Deep gold pour with light white head. Aroma is corn and very light malt. Flavor is medium sweet corn and light floral hops. Light bodied with aggressive carbonation. Had to have it after the commercials. Not bad as far as pale lagers go

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Not much going on with this one. Golden/yellow color with a reducing white head, faint notes of hops, faint malt, watery with a slightly sweet finish. It’s an industrial bland fizzy lager which is not pretending to be anything else and in the right situation (eating Mexican Cuisine) it is great. Brewed for the masses to knock back cheaply without thought.

1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle - Pours a clear pale gold, fizzy head because I poured it that way; faded quickly. Skunk, some grass and mild fruit, watery...like every other crap lager I’ve ever tasted. Not special.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
33cl bottle from Prisma, Tallinn. Pours pale golden with a fast dissipating white head. Grainy and slightly fruity aroma with hints of cooked vegetables. Fairly drinkable when cold, especially next to hot food or possibly in hot weather. Besides that a fairly standard industrial pale lager. Not the worst, but far from the best.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
appearance: clear straw, short fizzy bright white head, minimal lacing. aroma: hint of cracker, corn, grass, and lemon. taste: zesty lemon, bit of saltine cracker and white bread. finish: clean, crisp, hint of white pepper. notes: Look, this is a shit Mexican lager but it’s not the worst thing in the world. When you’re blasting a bunch of Tex-Mex down your gullet, this is an appropriate lubricant. Draft at Villa Maya in Rockville.
