They have a "lime-nes" to each and every one of them. Modelo Especialo is an example. It went great with a burrito but my guess is it would not work with a football game. Still think there is one brewery in Mexico they just switch bottles and cans on even odd days etc and add a little bit of caramel coloring for the dark beers. Hard to tell them apart after awhile - beats most American macros though. Bierlieber (49), Evanston, Illinois, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 21, 2004 Crisp light lager. Slight malty taste. From the can it has a mettalic touch. From the bottle, there is a skunkiness. Can’t win with this one. TBone (6868), Pori, Finland

Golden yellow, small creamy head. Aroma softly hoppy. Watery taste with some hoppiness thrown in. Lame but the worst Mexican "lager". SHD (17), Palm Harbor, Florida, USA

Not as weak as most North American pilsener offerings. Its cheap to buy and it shows. Still, it is better than drinking Bud. bubbleflubber (903), Collinsville, Virginia, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 9, 2006 Twas surprised by this one, honestly... in a decent way. (From the can) Pours deep golden into the glass with a diminishing head, small lacing to the glass. For the first aroma of the night, it honestly had a grapey, cabernet nose to it... almost dead on. This is where good went to decent. The flavor still is still a bit blander than I wanted, with slight notes of pale malt, a quick smitten of corn, and just a hint of bitterness to round out the pull. But for such lackluster, it did have a decent mouthfeel, better than I anticipated. It cleansed the palate well enough, without necessarily feeling watery. Definitely not a lot of complexity going on in this one, but it’s certainly better than most of its cultural counterparts. KUEric (635), Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 28, 2006 Bottle: A metallic, malty flavor and arom dominated this ’premium’ beer. Not bad for a mexican import, but is that really saying much at all? Not good, and I rated well above average.
