Clear yellow with little nose and nice head. Easy drinking and a nice compliment to the food, but nothing really interesting about it. I found it unoffensive.

I got a bomber of this at tapwerks in OKC last fall. It was the special. Everything was very average, so that is how I rated. Not half the beer Negra modelo is.

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2011 24 oz can poured into a Modelo glass (Not sure why I have one of these haha). Pours a light pale golden with a small quickly fading white head. Not much to speak of on aroma, some sharp hay and light sourness, a bit apple like. Some sweetness hints through but is overwhelmed by the sharp notes. Flavor is pretty awful, same sour apple notes, metallic characteristics. Fades into a grainy hay note and little more. Light watery body and a sharp carbonation. Bleck, this is no good Rerate: 08/10/11: Had some nice fresh bottles again after a long day working on the brewery (Pipeworks). Very clean and a little bit of a sharp citric taste to it, Very refreshing, crisp and a nice pale lager

12 oz bottle. Pours clear yellow with a frothy head bright white head. Nothing remarkable or notable about it, perhaps could be served with a citus fruit perhaps to make it better...

Pours a light golden color, white thick head that has OK retention. Corn/vegetable aroma. Slight corn/malt flavor, very light. Extremely high carbonation, thin body, slightly slick texture.

Pours a very light yellow. No aroma to speak of. Nor bad though. Doesn’t have the corn pop taste that I associate with the industrial water lagers. Worked fine with the Mexican food I had.

Can: So I’m doing this up right: what that means is that there was salt and lime juice poured over the lid before opening. Thanks, Danny. Sure. It masked the mediocre flavors, but it did it in an excellent way. I could drink this all day if I needed to - florals and adjunct on the nose; the flavor profile is sweeter than I would expect, though I suppose it is simply contrasting the heavy dosage of salt on this one.
