Modelo Especial, a pilsener type beer, was introduced to the market in 1966. Today it is sold in glass bottles as well as cans, which are having an increasing demand due to consumer preferences, making Modelo Especial the leader in the can segment in Mexico.

Another crappy Mexican beer. For the money you could buy mucho crappy American beer. Save half your money and buy some PBR.

Bottle. Golden orange with little white head. Aroma has caramel, tobacco, ash, bready lager yeast. Yeasty taste with caramel and tobacco. Fairy unpleasant palate, sweet and sticky. Not my preferred choice of beverage

Yellow, good carbonation. Smells like wheat, or dry grass. Taste malty, but quite refreshing if very cold.

12 oz. Clear golden with a lasting creamy disc. Nose is sourish dry grass and honey with a hint of skunk. Not much taste, maybe some dry grass and bland white toast with a touch of honey. Light body is balanced with a crisp dry finish, and is a bit too fizzy.

Tall boy can. You typical adjunct lager. Tangy with not too much to it. Could not finish.

If its hot and you like mexican beer, this is not a bad option with a little lime.

Tallboy can. Standard macro lager across the board. Aftertaste is a bit long and has some offensive notes to it. Doesn’t seem clean or refined.
