24 oz. can . Pale gold, clear, some steady bubbles. The nose is sweet, and smells "soapy". A straw lager. with a thin body and a bit fizzy. sweet straw lager. too sweet to be refreshing on a hot day. Grainy aroma; , thin white head; malty with some fruit; smooth, thin, easy drinking; low carbonation for a lager; some mild hop bitterness.

24oz can from Food Lion. Golden hue, normal clarity with mostly diminishing fizzy white head. Okay lacing. Aroma of sweet fruit and malt. The taste up front and on the finish was sweet floral, fruit and water. Mark that one of the list.

Single clear bottle from Liquor Depot, served in a pint glass. The bottle is adorably stubby, sharply and crisply dressed in white and gold. (It’s beer cosplaying as Hervé Villechaize’s "Tattoo".) Any hopes of being transported to a Fantasy Island of cerveza, however, are forcefully quashed as the cap is cracked off and a typhoon-level gust of skunk-funk is released. Holy polecats, Mr. Roarke, it’s stronger than even Corona’s! Pours a brilliant, crystal-clear golden yellow with plenty of carbonation and a there-and-gone cream-colored head, leaving no lace. Nose is akin to a camping trip disaster; skunk-sprayed puffed wheat cereal with no added sugar. This aroma is unmistakable from my younger days, when Mom and Dad purchased mattress-sized bags of puffed wheat cereal for us kids to have for breakfast, both at home and away. Flavor-wise, it’s utterly, helplessly watery. Barely any of the aforementioned cereal grains stand out, but there is something rather dusty/musty in there. Thin-bodied and with a drying (though not astringent) finish. The packaging was promising, with its compactness and foil-covered cap and neck, but the liquid inside leaves me wishing it were a Corona instead. Badly bland and blandly bad. Adios, Señor Modelo; vaya con pollo!

12 oz can. Weak head soon reduces to a ring. Excellent clarity. Light feel, aroma and taste. O: well, it’s at least as good as Corona and better than some light beers.

Bottle at a Mexican restaurant, Jerez, 4.3.2015. Clear gold. Limestone aroma, papery sweetness. Light body, oxidized aftertaste and very carbonated.

First whiffs of this is grassy corn. It doesn’t really smell great. It mellows out a bit to more of a non-descript aroma. I’m bored with it already....Appearance is slightly cloudy with a nice off-white head. It lingers for a bit, it’s quite nice...Taste is not bad, it’s pretty good actually. It’s medium-light and corny sweet....Mouthfeel is medium-light. Carbonation is pretty heavy and lingers throughout the experience....Overall, it’s enjoyable. But this is MUCH better than Corona. Not something that I would want to be ’caught’ drinking, so shhhh!

355ml clear bottle. Clear and golden in the glass, just a faint ring of white bubbles for a head. Nose has corn and grains. Taste is grainy, corny with grassy hops. Light bodied with a bit of a carbonation bite. Refreshing and basic Mexican lager, I like this better than all its competitors.

Clear yellow poured into a pint mug with a small white head. Very thin malt flavor that was minimized by the ice cold glass.

This is an inoffensive macro Pale lager that reminds me of Peruvian Cusqueña. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is weakly malty with some fruity hints. Very weak, but not bad compared to other commercial lagers. Taste is pretty much non-distinct, but clean. A less feeble Corona but that’s not much. Drinkable, refreshing, but not tasteful by any means. Light bodied, watery drink. At least it’s not swill.

Copenhagen 8/3 2015. 35,5 cl bottle from Netto. The characteristic broad Modelo bottle in clear glass. Pours golden yellow with white head which dissapears almost instantly. Aroma is grainy and sour. Maybe a little glue and straws. Medium carbonation. Taste is a little grainy sweet. The aftertaste is rather weird and like I would imagine glue is tasting (I have not had the pleasure of actually tasting glue). Not a very pleasant "especial".
