Blazing World is an aggressively hoppy beer that shares characteristics with both double IPAs and amber ales. It’s hopped with an excessive quantity of Nelson Sauvin, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops, giving it an intensely fruity, dank hop aroma, followed by a huge & complex hop flavor and a healthy dose of bitterness. Its amber body is deceptively dry, offering just enough malt backbone to support its distinctive and incredibly robust hop character.

Can shared in NYC. Pours clear, deep gold with a creamy white head. Great aroma, lots of dank hops, flowery hops, ripe fruits. Medium sweet flavor with oily hop character, pine, melon, papaya. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Oily and resinous on the finish, with pine, mild bready malts, gooey tropical fruits. Very solid.

Can - Pours copper with a filmy off white head. Nose is dank and oniony with mango and sweet bready malt. Taste is super hoppy, with dank onion and tropical fruit. Dry bready malt with a bitter astringent hoppiness. Slick and medium-bodied with mellow carbonation.

From tap at Mikkeller Bangkok. Recommended by bar staff. Citrus and passion fruit on the nose. Very hoppy. Almost like a DIPA. Well balanced. A great beer altogether.

I poured this into a pokal from a pint can and considered how terribly light-bodied it seemed. Obviously a bit of a paradox! The liquid is ruby-amber and crystal clear, capped with a white sea-foam; rocky and soft, all at once. The lacing is light on the glass, delicate and sticky. Grapefruit and passion fruit take the point, but the aroma is outrageously dank with hops; it comes across more of a DIPA than an Amber, but with a caramel malt rich enough to temper the idea. Still, if I was nose first into a hops cone, I couldn’t get too much more resin than I’m finding here. (sigh-love) The body median, this brew still flows nicely, balanced and flavorful. The carbonation "fair to middlin" is popping lightly over my tongue and cheeks, adding to the dryness that keeps me tipping the glass. The finish is short, slightly bitter and very, very comfortable. A friend told me that this beer would "surprise me...in a great way." It has!

Hand dlivered by Maxbier all the way from L.A. Thanks Maxbier, this is a great brew! Pours clear copper with off white head. Aroma is citrus, pineapple, and papaya. Flavor starts big tangerine and clementine, followed with sweet pineapple, ripe sweet mango, and Papya. Finishes with a resiny pine. Slight bitterness in finish but does not linger. Really nice, sweet, fruity brew. Really liking these hopped up ambers.

Tap at Mikkeller Bangkok. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeast, skunky malt, citrus hop. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a yeast, super strong hop bitter, light toothpaste palate and a forever lingering bitter finish. There are clearly lots of hops in here and it surprised me that the aroma was as light as it was.
