It pours a clear pale golden color with average head. The aroma has a Belgian spiciness to it like pepper and a bit of lemon citrus. The taste has some spiciness to it as well and some nice grassy bitterness. The body is light, clean and dry. I love the description on the can as rustic, it describes it well. This was quite enjoyable and worth the buy.

Started with this. Not as much fanfare for this as their hoppy amber and wheat, but it’s damn good. Almost surprisingly so. Very floral and lightly fruity, honeysuckle and light pepper on the nose and flavor. Crisp and very flavorful. Great low(er) abv beer. An herbal saison clinic :) There’d be a 7.5 and a couple 8.5’s in here..."

This light gold beer has a lemony aroma. Skittle spice and nice Belgian flavor are paired very well.

Thanks to BLG for this. Pours hazy gold with a big frothy white head. Aroma is grass, pepper, light hop and yeast. Taste is a great mix of saison dryness, light funk and earthy hops.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can from unknown via Denver. Pours a hazy straw color, lots of fast-dissipating head. Aroma arch and slightly floral, some estery notes, too, bananas? Body arch with a lingering weird almost tart character. Pomegranate? Not at all true to style, I like my saisons a bit drier this this, but not bad overall.

Can. Nice, light, grainy, little bit of fruity sweetness, cherry maybe. Taste is quite dry and refreshing. Something solvent like in there, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing right now. More fruity further down. fruit drops, bit tropical, but grainy dryness keeps it in check. Little bit of creaminess too. Nice.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at Marciero. PAstel yellow, almost anyhow, with a low head. Meaty fruits in the nose, yeast, honey malt, lemon, funk minerals. Biscuits. Decent, but comes off either as too American for a saison, or more like a tripel. Heavy yeast and malts.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can. Hazy gold with a large white head. Floral and spicy aroma with light dough, lemon pudding, pepper, cloves. Light bodied, moderate carbonation. Sweet with some stone and tropical fruit (or bubblegum), a wheaty tanginess, spicy at the moderately bitter finish. Refreshing, but wanted a drier finish.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Light straw color. Light hop nose with some lemon citrus. Bit of yeast character in the taste, I guess, but not very saison-like. Unclean finish. Drinks a lot like a mediocre pilsner. Disappointing as I had generally heard good things about Modern Times.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled at the RBSG 2014. It poured a hazy yellow color with a white head. The aroma was of lemon, tropical fruits and a hint of pepper. The taste was similar with herbal hops, some celery and herbs. Decent.
