mullet (763), Melbourne, Australia Sep 16, 2007 Updated: Sep 17, 2007 On tap at the rather blue brewery - makes sense I suppose. Lovely hazy gold, good head. Quite sulfurous in the best way and the hop aroma seems vaguely German (?) to me. Fresh corn chip yeast flavour, big juicy malt and a tiny bit of saltiness in the finish. Fairly light on for hops relative to other Czech beers but doesn’t really suffer for it. Actually some Zoigls reminded me a lot of this beer. Incredibly fresh and drinkable... and delicious. Beautiful.

Tons of sulfur in the nose with lotus root malt. Murky, dark yellow with a lasting white top. Nice and malty flavour but overpowered by sulfur. Notes of lotus root and soda water. Moderately bitter. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly bitter finish. KimJohansen (3259), Copenhagen V, Denmark Aug 29, 2008 Hazy amber with medium white head.
