Modrý Abbé Domací Pivola Kavové

Draft at Modrý Abbé. A pitch black beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is very malty combined with notes of straw and cold coffee. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw as well as lighter notes of sweet malt and roasted malt. The mouthfeel is thin, but sparkling.

on tap at the blind tasting at modry abbe, rbesg08. pretty decent for a low alcohol beer - sure enough some coffee powder and unfermented malt in the aroma, hints of coconut oil, pretty easy to swill, which i can’t say about too many non-alcoholic beers

On tap. Dark brown with a tint of orange and a small beige head. Pleasant burned coffee accents in the nose. Light and watery body with very pleasant notes of burned malt and coffee. Finishes dry with hardly any bitterness. Lots of flavour for a beer this light. 280608

[tap at blind tasting at Modrý Abbé in Klatovy] A touch of chocolate in the nose together with some fresh, boiled hops. Sugary iced coffee with some hazlenut. Opaque brown with cover of big bubbles, sort of like swiss cheese. Thin and weak, but very pleasant iced coffee and hazlenut flavour. Light body and moderate carbonation. By far the best non-alcohol beer I’ve ever had.

Black with a small off-white head. Toffee and hay gets together in the weak aroma. Dry and roasted coffee flavour, long lasting aftertaste. You can taste it’s thin and watery, but overall a very pleasant non-alcohol!

(6/28/08) Draught at a blind tasting at Modrý Abbé in Klatovy. Dark brown color with an off-white head. Aroma has some roastiness, some licorice notes and a bit of chocolate. Sweetish flavor with some roastiness, some milk-chocolate and some coffee. Continues drier. Very light-bodied. The best non-alcoholic beer I’ve had.

Draught (@Modré Abbé, Klattau): Dark malt and coffee in the nose, wort too; dark with ruby spots and a quite quickly diminishing beige head; thin bodied, light dry bitter-sweet flavour; short finish: diluted cold coffee..... . Drinkable.......

Blind tasting nr. 1 - at Modrý Abbé. Black - gray head. Burned, coffee, licorice, vegetables, weak body, there is something about this - like a light-produkt. Weak body - boring.
