[Bottle] Pours amber with a big off-white head. Aroma is a little weak, with banana, barley, and some lemon. Taste has banana, bublegum--a big yeast presence, with some toned down sugar cookie dough, solid malt in the background, a big alcohol blast that dies down as it warms, and some cidery notes that keep me from going higher with the score. Good mouthfeel with an average length finish. Maybe I am giving this a slightly higher score because it is significantly better than most of the beers that I have had lately, but I did enjoy it quite a bit (especially after allowing it to warm). Not something that I would seek out, but worth buying if it is around.

Semi hazy golden body, white head. Aroma of light malts, low grassy hops, toasty. Flavour has yeast, light crisp maltiness, flowery hoppiness. Thick mouthfeel, but somehow unbalanced. Not my favourite tripel.

Taste: start is a bit sweet and malty , then comes a bitter palate with a slightly yeasty and sweet note , end is a bit citric and hopy , good !

Süßer, stark hefiger Beginn, der vielerlei Fruchtnoten beinhaltet. Dann wird das Bier auch breiter, sehr süffig für den Alkoholgehalt. Feine Hefenoten zum Ende, geringe Bitterkeit. Herllich ausbalanciert, Hefe, Fruchtigkeit und Süße passen zusammen. Gut! 7/9/12/11/7/11

Fra fat på De Groote Witte Arend i Antwerpen 29 Apr 11. Gyldenbrun. Medium skum. Svak maltaroma. Grei smak av frukt & litt nøtter. Litt mye kullsyre. Litt bitterhet i ettersmaken. Et øl på det jevne.

Colour is amber, it’s hazy, has a white head, fully lasting. Aroma is yeasty. sweet fruity. Flavor starts sweet, more fruit, and faint yeasty. Creamy texture and soft carbonation.

Bottle 33cl a cloudy yellow beer with huge head. Nose is fruity and sweet. Aroma is sweet with a good body, on agrumes and very bitter and spicy, not bad but a bit classic.

330 ml bottle. Leiden, the Netherlands.
Clear deep golden colour with small white head. Sour fruit, yoghurt, mild fruit and mild hops in aroma. Bitter acrid hops, malt and Belgian yeast in flavour. Fizzy.
