2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle… Clear copper ale with a small, creamy, white head. There’s not a whole lot going on, aroma-wise, as I can barely pull anything up from the glass – maybe a bit of caramel, toffee, plum and date. Light to medium-bodied with barbed carbonation. Decently balanced; leans ever so slightly on the sweet side. Finishes crisp and mildly sweet. Bottle courtesy of mgumby10!

Bottle courtesy of Allaboutstout. Pours mahogany with a nice tan head. Smells of roses, soap, some spice, tea, touches of citrus. Tastes of chocolate up front with some nice spicy touches. Some earthy qualities are also present. Mouthfeel is full. Finish yields some raisins and elements of bitterness. Lots of depth in this one.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12/22/11. 12oz bottle courtesy Cavie! Clear red pour with a nice, fluffy tan head that cuts to a film but laces plenty. The aroma shows bubblegum, caramel, spices, and a nice orange peel aspect. Sweet malty flavor hits first with plenty of caramel then shows spice and orange peel. I’m not sure what is actually in this, if anything, but something about this screams spices, oranges, and possibly even Belgian yeast. Surprisingly tasty!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle:   Bright fiery caramel, thin sudsy off-white head, spotty lacing.   Dull caramel malty nose, low/subtle spices.   A little vegetal on the tongue, otherwise sweet maltiness with some caramel.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Dull vegetal caramel on the finish.   This one was from last year.   A little over the hill me thinks.   Fresh might be more interesting.   Thanks Clint for sharing!
