Okee-dokee, I had this one at the Moerlein Over-The-Rhine brewery guest opening, and it was a fine example of an English afternoon beer... tastey, but safe enough.

Drafted at tapping party at The Lackman in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 19, 2011. Cloudy golden color, muted aroma with musty (in a good way) and citrus elements, small white head that mostly vanished with little lacing, initial taste of citrus followed by assertive hops and (especially) malt combo, interesting sugary finish. This beer packs a much bigger punch than the usual workaday summer beers (which Moerlein head honcho Greg Hardman assured me was the intention) while still being thirst-quenching. This limted edition beer is only available on draft and only at The Lackman for a limited time, so Ratebeerians living in or visiting the Cincinnati area need to act fast. A very worthwhile beer (brewed at Moerlein’s Over The Rhine facility) that I hope returns next summer with much wider availability.
