Pours amber in color with not much head at all. Smell is malty and a bit spicy. Taste is very malty, much more than in the nose. A good amount of hops in the taste as well. Medium mouthfeel with a good amount of bitterness. Very good and easy drinking. Not bad.

Nov 18, 2008 The aroma is very malty and somewhat toasty with grassy and resin hops to balance. The appearance is amber with a foamy but small head. The flavor is like the aroma and very likable. The palate is average for the style. Overall it’s very good.

Sep 5, 2008 Tallahassee, Fl. - Market Square Liquors - 12 oz bottle. Dark orange pour, sparkling, soft white head. Sweet aroma, hints of candied yams. Earthy flavor, some toffee accents, caramel, some hints of pumpkin and a bit of ripening vegetables. Mouthfeel is thick enough. Not overdone with sweetness, overall, decent.
