COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Taken from an early native American name for the Ohio River, Kiskepila Sepe (Kiskepila-Eagle, Sepe-River. This golden beauty reflects our love of a true Pilsner. We used only Pilsner malt, Hallertau hops and single decoction mash to craft one of our favorite beer styles. Sit back and enjoy the simple beauty of a Kiskepils.

Draft pour during Ohio Brew Week. Pours a clear gold with a white head of foam. The aroma has a corn, grain and bread thing going on. Taste is smoothly sweet and easy going. Light body with low to medium carbonation.

Draft to pint at Moerlein Lager House. Looks good for the style; a transparent golden orange with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of biscuit, pilsner malt, and lager yeast with some mild hop notes. Tastes like it smells with a pleasantly smooth mouthfeel; lacks the pils snap though. Still, a solid example of the style.

Draft. Poured a clear golden color with an average frothy white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate malt and floral hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable brew.

Pint at brewery - allez les bleus!!! Nose is grassy. Sip adds more grass. Light bitter and refreshing. It’s a pilsner folks.

Taster on tap at the Lager House. Clear golden color. Thin white head. Some bits of lace. Good pilsnery lightly peppery bready malt nose up front. Medium body. Smooth crisp, lighter carbonation. Lightly slick. Very easy to drink. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter. Great pilsener. Very well done.

Draft at the Lager House. Pours a clear gold with a small white head. Notes of straw, grass, pils and crackery malts, with a long, bready malt finish. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry, malty mouthfeel. Not a whole lot to say about it, which is fine. Just a good pils.
