On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma of caramel malt, tropical fruits. Flavor of tropical fruits, floral hops, and light bready malt in the finish. Some bitterness in the finish too. A fruity IPA, reminds me of the Mikkeller hop series.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Denverdiv (30) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 24, 2013
Pours amber with copper tint. Minimal head. Little to no hop bite, incorrect pallet for an IPA, tastes more like a lager with grass notes.
-To IPA is to be.

Pours orange-amber with a steady, light tan head.
Aroma of sweet orange malt.
Taste is malty, fruited, grass/herb hop bittering...a little bread.
Slightly bland in the hop department, but it’s ok.

Bottle, Tap: this is a great beer. I think that it’s my favorite offering by Moerlien. It’s malty, with a great grapefruity citrusy pine hop presence that just sits right on top. Good Stuff.

This is a good beer but just an average IPA. Almost taste a hint of chocolate and not a fan. Will drink again tho

Bottle pour into pint. Hazy amber color. Nose of breach fruit. Taste initial mild sweetness followed by astringent bitterness. Not much aromatic hop. Long lasting bitter aftertaste.

Pint at Flipside at Easton. Clear amber pour with a medium off-white head. Malty nose with grassy and earthy hop notes. Malty flavor with grassy hops and an earthy finish with a splash of grapefruit.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 fauxpunker (76) - Florence, Kentucky, USA - SEP 24, 2012
Very crisp hoppy scent. Nice golden color and a bit cloudy. Very bitter, but not unpleasant. Tastes even a little citrus. More of a standalone beer rather than one for drinking with food. Probably not for someone just beginning to develop a taste for beer. Though I’m not much of an IPA fan, but this isn’t bad.

Draft to pint. Looks alright; dark for an IPA though. Smells and tastes malty and hoppy, but mildly; more like a hoppy Amber. Average on the palate. Meh.
