Tap. Poured dark clear reddish brown color with an average frothy light brown head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted malt and small alcohol aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium toasted sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Good complex brew.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
draft - pours dark brown with khaki head and great lacing. Nose is smoky and creamy. Flavor adds more smoke, peat and brown sugar. This is more like a Hudy than a Moerlein. Reminds me of the Leinenkugels Snowdrift Vanilla Porter. Mildly sweet.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at the Lager House. Pours a deep amber, browner at the top and clearer at the bottom, with a small off-white head. Very sweet aroma of brown sugar, hazelnut, toffee, and butterscotch. The flavor isn’t quite as sweet but is led by toffee, hazelnut, brown sugar, with some toast, nut, and faint peat notes following. Light-medium bodied, with a sticky mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Too sweet for my tastes when it comes to this style.
