Draft. Peach, clove, and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy yellow with moderate head. Sweet peach/orange, clove and wheat malt flavor. Nice body. Very good Hefeweizen.

22oz serving at the new Lagerhouse downtown. Hazy yellow color, good thin off-white head. Good lace. Very smooth lighter carbonation, dry finish, nice mouthfeel. Satisfying banana and clove aroma. Light sweet taste, some zest. Very easy to drink, refreshing. A solid hefe.

Draft at the lager house. Pours a hazy bright orange with a small white head. Aroma is nicely balanced banana and fruit with some spiciness, very wheaty and bread forward. Flavor is nicely balanced, not overly sweet banana, crisp citric note some lemon, just a hint of tartness, subtle spiciness and a wheat forward finish. Medium body and and a crisp carbonation. Really good beer

On tap at the Moerlein Lager House. Looks good; a hazy orange with thin lacing. Smells pretty good too; sweet and yeasty. Tastes meh. Meh.

Draft. Pours a hazy yellow hue with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Good wheat, clove and banana aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium well balanced hefe flavor with a good sweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable beer.

Draft: Hazy yellow with a nice fluffy white head. Nice German style hefe, aromas of bananas cloves and spice. The flavor is the same, and leaves you refreshed and wanting more. Great offering at the lager house.

3/14/2012: Moerlein Se7en Hefeweizen... Aroma: Wheat; nice banana presence; plenty of clove spiciness. Appearance: Cloudy yellow color with a large, bubbly white head. Flavor: Light banana; clove; biscuit and slightly nutty; crisp, light grassiness in the finish; finishes a bit weak/soft. Palate: Medium-light; good mouthfeel. Overall: Pretty good and refreshing; this is the best hefe Moerlein has produced so far; it is quite traditional and fits very well into their current line up; however, I prefer a bit more banana and a little less clove in a Hefe.
