COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
From Arizona's High Country Comes Apache Trout Stout, a robust, full bodied, top fermented ale Our Brewers use mountain pure water selected roasted barley, hops and yeast to create this traditional style. Savor the balanced roasted malt flavor and the lingering sweetness that makes this dry stout a cool weather treat (and our brewers favorite).

Label is Apache Trout Stout. Minimal head. Has a nice chocolate, coffee aroma. Rich, malty and has an emerging sweetness that leads to a dry finish. Very enjoyable.

Another one i must thank mitch for! This beer pours a typical stoutie brown and black mix with no head but a very active carbonation level as was evidenced by the little bubbles attacking the sides of my pint glass. The aroma is a mixture of coffee, and chocolate malts with a hint of coffee bean and vanilla..perhaps a plastic hint or two as well. The taste is definitely chocolate malts and roasted coffee flavor upfront with a nice slightly bitter and grainy vanilla and chocolate finish. A slight souring quality right at the finish. Nice mouthfeel..pretty light bodied for a stout as the carbonation level is active yet somehow held in check once its in your mouth. A doable stout...

This poured as black as the eyes of night, a very short lasting tan head. Had coffee aroma, bitter chocolate taste with very little sweetness and a medium palate. Finished dry, it left a taste in my mouth like I had just finished a cup of expresso. It's good.

Dark brown color. Large head. Aroma is roasted malts and chocolate. A full-bodied stout. Malts are deeply roasted, chocolate, coffee and slightly sweet. Nice texture, falls just a little short of velvety, but very nice. Hints of vanilla and cherries as it warms. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

A dry stout that is well balanced but a little sweet as dry stouts go. What was interesting was that there was a lingering sootiness in the finish.

Tried this one on draft at the brew pub. Not much of a head on this full bodied stout. Nicely balanced semi sweet dry finish.

Flavor is very much to style, a pretty decent stout, better than most. Overall, average and not terribly exciting, lacking some depth, but OK to drink.
