From Arizona's high country comes Superstition. This light refreshing American Pale Ale is brewed using mountain pure water, select domestic grain, yeast and hops from the Pacific Northwest. Superstition is copper in color with a clean malty fullness and finishes with pronounced hop bitterness. Perfect for enjoying on a warm Arizona Day. Serve at 50 degrees.

Color: a clear, bright apricot, with tiny, yeasty(?!?) travellers swimming hither and thither. Head: small, brief, white. Aroma is soft amd swept clean, but slowly unfolds with malty tones of caramel and nuts. Faintly fruity, otherwise lacking in hops. On palate, a bit sharp, at first, with a coppery twang. Eventually, hops assert themselves, but the mouthfeel was not a pleasant experience. The roughness I felt subsides some, and the pieces come together more in the middle. Still, the flavors compete a bit too much. Something about what I could only call a "dull, ringing aftertaste" spoiled this ale for me. Body is medium, texture good, but not a smooth ride, when that’s what’s called for with a pale ale.

Had this beer on 10/2/2002. Aroma is mild malt scent. Color was an orange/amber with ok carbonation and head. Taste is mild with a nice hoppyness. Overall I think its a good beer.

Slightly cloudy copper amber color, no head to speak of, hop citrus aroma, nice not overbearing, Hop taste comes right in on first sip it was almost to bitter, more bitter than flavorful. A good thirstquencher

Gushed big time, lost almost half. Hazy copper color, big cream color head, lots of lace. Big floral hop aroma. Flavor was a bit mild compared to the aroma, still hoppy though. Smooth feel, bitter finish. Nice for a session, too bad I only have one.

Very thick yellow color, aroma was that of a pale. Hoppy with a touch of malt. Texture was a little off for me, but still a nice pale.

Yellowish, color. Some malt aroma. Mine was a little runny and could have used more hops

Bottle poured a cloudy orange color with lots of floaties and a light skim of a head that layed across the top of the beer. Aroma of Malt, hops and citrus. Flavor is medium powered hops and citrus, oranges with a clean crisp hops finish. Good, easy drinking, refreshing beer. I have stood at the same place that the gila monster is sitting on the label!

Nice APA. Very malty despite the evident Cascade hoppiness. Nice quaffing brew and an overall tasty package. Cool bottle for collecting as well.

Darker than expected and also a better head and more aroma. The flavor really surprises me with lots of hoppyness and a little, but just right, side taste of resin. I only had one, and it was a really hot day. I bet this one would do even better a chilly night by the fire.

Labeled under Superstition Pale Ale. Mogollon has some of the best labels. Minimal frothy head. Light copper color. Mix of fruit and malts in the aroma. Very hoppy in the initial taste. Semi-sweet. has a nice not too overbearing aftertaste. Would be great with spicy foods. This ones a keeper.
