COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
From Arizona's high country comes Superstition. This light refreshing American Pale Ale is brewed using mountain pure water, select domestic grain, yeast and hops from the Pacific Northwest. Superstition is copper in color with a clean malty fullness and finishes with pronounced hop bitterness. Perfect for enjoying on a warm Arizona Day. Serve at 50 degrees.

Had this beer on 10/2/2002. Aroma is mild malt scent. Color was an orange/amber with ok carbonation and head. Taste is mild with a nice hoppyness. Overall I think its a good beer.

Yellowish, color. Some malt aroma. Mine was a little runny and could have used more hops

UPDATED: OCT 29, 2004 Bottle 12 oz. This stuff was good 2 1/2 years ago. Full bodied, malty, hoppy, viscous, very cloudy with a pleasant toasted flavor. Then it changed abruptly to a mainstream, commercial, diluted, crystal clear, sterile bore. I remember buying up a load of the older brew when the replacement came on the market.

A buddy of mine gave me a bottle of this, and I think it may have gone bad, because there was slight ’funky’ smell to it that also came out in the finish. The same smell and taste was in the Amber as well. I think I will try this again later and re-rate, but until then this beer was aweful.
