From Arizona’s high country comes Wapiti, hand crafted with mountain pure water, two-row malted barley, yeast and Yakima Valley hops. Our Brewers use traditional methods to create this full-bodied amber ale with a distinct hoppy aroma. Wapiti should be enjoyed cool not cold to best expeirience the complex character and flowery aroma.

Light in color with a decent head that recedes slowly. Smells of sweet malt and tastes same with define dried hay. The finish is bittered nicely. Not bad! Poured from can.

12oz can. Unfiltered murky orange-amber. Steady oily off-white head. Orange citrus hop notes and amber malt aroma. A pretty insipid West Coast Amber. Soapy, watery mouthfeel. Inoffensive, not really off by any means. One dimensional, unexceptional.

12oz can. Pours clear medium amber with a one finger white head. The nose is mostly caramel malt with some honey biscuits. The taste is toffee, toasted caramel and light hops in the finish. Medium mouthfeel. Lots of malt in this one though an enjoyable beer. Need to remember this one when someone asks me for suggestions and state they doesn’t like hops/bitter beers.

can from mcgaugh’s consumed 7/14/10. hazy iced tea color coppery amber with a soft pale tan head and drippy lacing. it smells....amber?... grainy, honey, orange, buttery cereal and dull spices with a lacking hop charge. the flavor reminds me of frosted flakes... but from when i was a kid when they were really over the top sweet...stale cereal grain, buttery caramel, stale spices and an earthy finish. the medium body is slick from low carbonation and a touch on the sweet side since there is nothing to balance it out except a dry finish. 6/4/6/3/12/3.1
