"Go big or go home".

Bottle @ home. Pours copper reddish with a small head, nice lacing of tiny bubbles. Nose is sweet with red fruits, toffee, caramel, raisins & bread. Hints of grape and pine in the background. Soft carbonation and medium body for a barley wine. Sweet taste of caramel, toffee, raisins & grapefruit, hints of vanilla. It finishes drier with lots of bitter citrus that lasts long.

Aroma: Smelling weakly of bread, grape-fruit, pine and vanilla.
Appearance: A clear chestnut colored beer. A off-white head with good lacing and good curtains.
Taste: Tasting bread, grape-fruit, resin and citric peel.
Palate: Medium low carbonation, a coarse texture. A big body with a dry finish.
Overall: Feels very young, a boozed up AIPA. Could be better after some years.
Note: Bottle 330 ml at home. Reviewed 2014-01-17.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy copper colour, small head. Grapefruit and caramel lures underneath a thick blanket of fine brandy. Sweet with full body and rounded, oily mouthfeel. Heavy, but not overpowering. Good balance of caramelly malt and aromatic hops. Long bitter finish with balanced peppery heat. Flawless, but I miss a soul.

@ Havregatan (några hus bort). Flaska från Systembolaget (31:-). Fruktig, alldeles för söt, ganska tunn.

Pours clear reddish amber with a finger of off-white head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, light citrus, some resin, hints of vanilla. Taste is sweetish, boozy with a touch of resin bitter kicking in towards the finish. Body is medium, oily, with soft carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

@basunen: ingen större doft men en trevlig fruktig smak. Ganska blek eftersmak. Ok men ganska enkel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sweet fruity aroma. Dark fruits and dark syrup is prevalent. Some alcohol can be noticed as well.
Clear orange colour with thin beige head
Fruity and sweet taste finished of with a nice level of bitterness. I like the malty sweetness (Brittish barley wine) combined with the bitterness mostly associated with American ones.
Full body, medium carbonation and a bit sticky in the texture
It is bit to sweet and alcoholic for my taste but the bitterness helps a bit with this. It is nice though in small sips.
