2009-2010, 2014 brewed at Slottskällans Bryggeri. 2012 brewed at de Proef brewery. From 2015 brewed at own plant at Vega Bryggeri.

thanks deflagro for this one! pours black with a late rush of brown head. aroma is very doughy, salty, burnt and dry, and the taste follows suite. very intewresting porter, definately a salty note to it. great body and feel, almost has a nitro feel just out of the bottle. nice tasty porter with a different profile than the classic style.

Bottle. Dark brown with a big pale beige head. The aroma is of roasted malts, some hops, caramel and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with quite prominent notes of roasted malts and notes of caramel, dark fruits, chocolate and coffee. The finish is mildly hoppy and quite bitter with notes of licorice and roasted malts. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel. Good one.

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2012 Appearance: 4/5 Pitch black liquid with a big light brown liquid that left some lacing. Smell: 7/10 Chocolate, hops, nuts, dark bread, roasted and pumpkin seeds. Taste: 7/10 Chocolate, coffee, dark bread, something roasted, hops. Fairly high bitterness. The flavour was fairly intense and lasted a long time. Mouthfeel: 4/5 Fairly smooth with just some bite to it. Comment: Despite the low alcohol this beer was quite interesting with allot of flavour. I liked the combo of hops and chocolate, something that I also experienced in Dark Hops from Beer Here. It worked well with chocolate but I think this beer is just as good on it’s own.

Thanks Omhper for this gift! I really enjoy the aroma of this beer is amazing! Color is pure black with a beige head that keeps a thin layer until finish, aroma is complex, notes of Roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and plum, flavor is pretty much the same with a tasty bitter balanced with a soft sweetness. Finish is loooong.... I love it! My trip to Scandinavia was really rewarded!! :D

Big brown head. Opaque black body. Strong spicy roasty burnt aroma with wood, tar, and milk notes. Dry (and faintly acidic) burnt pine needle taste with resiny coffee notes. Mid-bodied. Smooth, buttery mouthfeel. Dry burnt coffee taste with spicy pine needle notes and traces of chocolate. A hard and intense beer because of all the black malts, but interesting and drinkable even so. (0.33l bottle, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

Bottle from Secret Santa and shared with Shawn: Deep brown hue with a small frothy head and spotty lace. The aroma has notes of roasted and chocolate malts, some vanilla, plum, raisin and walnut esters along with a earthy yeast vapour. The taste is chocolaty and nutty in addition to a light roast and charred component. A bit fruity and yeasty as well. The mouth feel is soft and medium-bodied. Okay, met expections.
