Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy dark reddish brown with a lasting beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and chocolate. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 120113

Bottle @ Berliner Weisse Takeover Ulfborg, 2013. Pours dark ruby brown with a small off white head. Roast, ashes, hops and chocolate. Smooth and dry. Nice.

Mörk fyllig öl med lång eftersmak. Alkoholen känns som värme, men smakar inte mycket. En öl att njuta till en ost. Passar sämre till mat.

Clear very dark reddish brown color, big lasting cocoa colored head. Sweet, malty, chocolate, hoppy, herbal, alcohol scent. Vinous, dry, sweet, alcohol, rich, complex, a bit papery, chalk, grainy taste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness that feels dry. Plenty of warming alcohol. Smells very nice, taste goes to the low 7 though, that dry chalky, sort of gypsym, feeling to it that enhances the bitterness I’d like toned down. Still very nice.

Sine Brown head, color is almost black. Heavy nose with fruity Brown sugar, hops and orange/chokolade cake. Fine body and good length. Taste is relatively soft with notes of fruit, chocko, orange and cake

Pours black with a tall lasting tan head.
Spicy nutty malt aroma. Some cocoa.
The flavor starts out with a roast malt bitterness and lots of alcohol.
The alcohol remains after a few sips and more of the chocolate comes out.
I think this would soften out with a little age on it.

Kolsvart vätska med brunt skum. Intensiv doft av röda bär, kaffe. Tydligt inslag av spritig arom. Stram smak.

Bottle. Black colour with a tan head that leaves some lacing. Aroma of raisin, chocolate. Flavour is sweet sugar, liquorice, coffee, a bit burned.

Den här bör nog stå något år eller två. Smak och doft av choklad, russin, kaffe, torkad frukt, humle, alkohol. Humlen slår igenom och det saknas balans.

Nästan svart öl med ett lätt ljusbrunt skum. Doft av maltsötma, lätta choklad och rostade toner, lätt kryddighet och fruktighet. Smaken är söt med rostade toner, choklad, kryddighet och en komplex beska med både fruktighet och tallbarr. Mer balanserad än den tidigare varianten.
