Cloudy black body with a bit small, tan and fairly long-lived head that sticks somewhat to the glass. Strong aroma that is surprisingly little malty but with a rather strong hop influence of pine and herbs. Lightly roasted malts in the back and traces of smoke. The strong flavour is much more malty, with coffee and other roasted elements. There is also faint notes of dry cocoa and chocolate in the late finish. The hops are evident in the flavour as well: pine in front with grapefruit and herbs in the back. The alcohol is noticeable, but not unpleasant. Magnificent mouthfeel: it’s a full-bodied beer with a creamy and smooth texture, soft carbonation and a very dry end. A nice hoppy porter not that far away from a BIPA.

Flaska från systemet - Kolsvart med vitt skum. Väldigt spritig doft. Lite tunn i kroppen. Lite brända toner i smaken annars är det mest alkoholsmak.

Dark dark brown. Thick tan head. To the nose it’s packed with vanilla, liquorice and coffee. Tasting shows a big warm malty porter. Liquirce, coffee, chocolate, vanilla. Somewhat roasted. High bitterness and somewhat sweet. Perfect beer for sipping on a cold and late winter eve.
