Bottle courtesy of Alex. Thanks! Pours almost black and has a great nose on it. Sweet dark roast with layers of nuts, caramel, espresso, and a slight oxidized note that is very appealing. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor follows the nose and is a tasty complex brew. Glad I got to try it.

33 cl bottle @ home, bbe 2014/12/31. As good as black color. Light borwn dense rocky head with good retention and lacing. Aroma’s: hard roasted malts, some fruity sourness, hints of vanilla. Hard roast, almost burned retronasal, a bit drop/laurel/bay leaves, hoppy acidity, alcohol. Flavor is moderate sweet, roasted, ashy, coffee and some fruit. Rather strong alcohol feel. Medium bodied. Finishes somewhat ashy, roasted, moderate bitter. Quite nice!

Mörkbrun nästan svart med ljusbrunt skum! Sjukt mycket olika dofter och smaker som är svårt att sätta fingret på! Men kaffe, choklad och russin! Riktigt bra öl!

2012 vintage. Pours pitch black with a frothy mocca coloured head that laces beautifully. Smells of honny, fresh pine and spruce as well as a rounded smell of burnt malts. Taste is much the same as the smell, in adition a slight taste of port and slight oxidation becomes present in the aftertaste. Such a pleasent surprise, great craftsmanship.
