COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle courtesy of rlgk. Pours brownish red with a creamy pinkish offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of thick sticky lacing on the glass. Smell is sour and slightly fruity with buttered dark bread, red wine vinegar, moist hay, sour cherries, raspberries, biscuits, leather, lemon juice, barnyard, sour milk and grape juice. Taste is sweet, slightly sour, tiny malty and slightly fruity with buttered dark bread, grape juice, low quality red wine, barnyard, red wine vinegar, hay, raspberry and cherry hard candy, hay, dry soil, moist wood and leather. Mouthfeel is soft, tiny viscous, slightly sticky sweet, very tiny dry, slightly tart and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet, tiny sour, malty and fruity with buttered dark bread, grape juice, lemon juice, red wine vinegar, powdered sugar, hay, dry soil, sour cherries, lemon zest and grape skins. Too sweet, too artificial and basically a mess…

37,5cl bottle from a Göteborg friend. Pours a dark amber brown color with a small off-white head. Metallic, wood, modest but nice cherry fruit, slightly tart. For sure nice to keep a year or 3, the brett taste will evolve. Like this a lot as it’s tempered in sourness, although holding a medium bodied taste.

Murky cloudy brownish color with thin off white layer. Not very inviting aroma. Yeast and some cherry. Not to sweet. Thats is on the positive side. Also well hidden alcohol. Flavor was a bit unbalanced with a mix of cherries, mild oak and yeast. Should probably stayed longer in the bottle. Germany beat Argentina 1-0 in the wc final 2014. That is also an the positive side.

Bottle from Systembolaget. This isn’t my type of beer. The smell is very strong and you can smell the high ABV. A sweet smell with cherries and oak. Pours a brown/red colour with a small brown head. Taste of sweet cherries and yeast. Finish is decent. Overall a solid beers, considering Belgian strong ales isn’t my suit

@Basunen: stor doft av svarta vinbär. Tydlig bärig smak men även toner av kola och vitpeppar. Mycket söt men ändå ganska trevlig. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---- Soberness not garanteed!
