COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
(Oxymoron is a development of last year’s Black IPA Easter Edition. As the name states the beer is a contradiction in itself, a dark light beer. The hop profile corresponds to an IPA albeit with a light body and a dark, stout-like colour, though without the roasted notes. Oxymoron is brewed with Pilsner, Pale, Munich, oat, rye, and light and dark caramel malts. The hop varieties are Amarillo, Cascade, Citra, Colombus, Crystal, Magnum and Simcoe)

(Bottle) Pours black with a light brown head. The aroma holds floral, sweet citric and mild tropical/yellow fruity hops alongside spicy/light minty rye, dark bread, dry caramel and roasted grain. Well-balanced and yummy on the nose. Hints of wet, earthy tobacco, dried corn, wood and liquorice root. The flavour is light sweet, medium bitter and tiny acidic with notes of mild citric/floral/fruity hops, spicy/minty rye and caramelly/dark bready/roasted malt. The mouthfeel is clean, tart and a bit round with a soft, light carbonation. Fruits, citrus juice, liquorice, mint and earthy bitterness on the finish. Near medium bodied.
