Sweet smell of roasted malt. The taste is a bit sour with a distinct flavor of burnt malt and a lot of hop bitterness. Probably a pretty good beer but for some reason I do not like it!

Fyllig, stark och med fantastiska humle-arommer/smaker. Jag tänker cascade fast det är Tettnang, Hallertau och Spalt. Saazhumlen ger bra bett i beskan. Mycket välavvägt öl. Mitt favoritpåsköl 2009.

Pours a hazy brown. Smells of toasted malts. Quite bitter with aromas of toasted malts and lots of bittering hops. Hints of residual sugars. Full bodied. Bitter finish.

Bottle. A cute little gusher producing an unclear, amber beer topped by a nice dense, beige head. Sweetish and bready nose with mocha and a fruity touch. Sweet, bready flavor with a touch of licorice. Caramel, coffee-notes and dark chocolate too. Full-bodied and sweetish, leading to a dry, bitter finish with coffee. A really nice one, especially considering the time of the year it’s made for. 100115

Eftersmak: den tunga beskan hänger kvar lång tid
Tycker att det är super att bryggerierna experimenterar fram öl till storhelgerna. Kära kollegor: det behöver inte vara så att det skall passa till påskmaten utan snarare passa till påskhögtiden dvs ledigheten kring påsk.

Light unclear medium amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, light roasted and chocolate, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20100110]

Cloudy mahogany with a medium beige head. Hoppy aroma with roasted malt, caramel and hints of chocolate. Hoppy flavour with roasted malt, caramel, pine and grapefruits. Finished dry and bitter.
