COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mohawk Red Easter 5,6 % abv, 55 IBU.

Bottle. Pours out in a hazy reddish amber colour with a small frothy off-white head. Hoppy and abit metallic aroma of dust, perfume, red berries, orange-peels, red grapefruit and mild caramel. Medium-bodied with notes of caramel and red berries with bitter notes of grapefruit-rind. Bitter finish of red grapefruit, dust and iron.

Bottle, 5.6%. Very high carbonation, almost a gusher. Teaish hop aroma, hint of spent barley. Cloudy dark orange/amber colour. Very big creamy tan head. The flavour starts off rather sweet with a teaish hop flavour. Turns caramelly and later sugary. Why on earth so sweet? There is a rather harsh bitterness in the finish.

Bottle 50cl (Thanks a lot Omhper). An unclear red-brown colour with a high beige head. An aroma of malt, caramel, vegetable, grass and hops. The taste is sweet and light bitter. A medium body, oily to watery texture, soft carbonation and a long dry, bitter finish.

courtesy of Per - hazy reddish beer under a huge foam left; perfumy aroma with notes of straw and mango; hints of caramel and fairly hoppy; pretty sourish, medium-bodied, solid carbonation; dry, bitter and sour; pretty raw with long notes of red fruits and caramel; pretty hoppy

The scent is spicy and slightly caustic sour. The taste is pure bizarre with a touch of perfume, detergent, sour yeast and a tedious bitterness. Really disgusting actually, I could not drink up the beer!

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma has notes of hops, straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw, leading to a dry and hoppy finish. Very raw in its impression. Thanks joergen for sharing.

Tröttsamt i längden. Det låga skummet gör mig lite misstänksam. Har något gått fel? Igen.

Purchased at systembolaget in Goteborg sometime in the middle of April, 2011. Overall, this is a very robust ale, with good body and lots of flavor. Pours with sharp reddish amber color, yielding a towering and resilient off-white head with tight and sticky lacing. The nose is predicts a hoppy ale: grass, citrus flowers, perfume. The is taste is relatively complex, although not as much as I would have expects from this hop combination: hoppy and somewhat sweet from the start, with notes of pine, tropical fruits, and grass. The finish is hoppy and somewhat malty. A very good, well-balanced ale and one that I would certainly try again.
