Bottle from systembolaget, Christmas beer tasting. Helsingborg, November 2011.
Bitter and sweet aromas of American hops, grapefruit resin and a caramel-like malty sweetness. Raspy taste with bitter hops, citrus notes and sweet malt. Some caramel notes as well. Flavours doesn’t really come together but I don’t mind it to much - the hoppines is quite tasty and good!

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2012 Bottle. Deep amber colour with a small quick fading white head. Ohhhh it smells amarillo mmm. Low carbonatin so it is a bit flat, but a warm mouthfeel, very hoppy and light malty.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 33 cl, SB. Pours deep ruby amber with a great creamy shortlived beige head leaving lots of lace. Aroma is sweet, caramel, malty, raisins and bready. Flavor is hoppy bitter, grapefruit, pungent, has a good maltyness, sweet, some caramel and burnt brown sugar. Finishes extremely bitter and malty. Too much bitterness which gives a not so good balance towards the end.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
33 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Clear, deep red/amber liquid with small to medium off-white head with big bubbles. Beautiful liquid but a bit short persisting head. Aroma is both malt and hop forward with notes of caramel, nuts, citrus, grapefruit, pine, tropical fruit and sweet malt. Really pleasant aroma. Taste is a bit malt sweet and medium to heavily bitter. Quite biscuity and bready. Some taste of minerals. Medium bodied with OK carbonation. Nice one, though a bit short lasting taste and quite harsh bitterness.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Mörk amerikansk strong ale med mycket humlearom men med en mörk fyllighet som balanserar bra. Gjorde ett starkt intryck och var nästan men bara nästan lite för mycket.

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2011 WOW! How this edition can be included in the Mohawks previous releases is a mystery! This is not the same beer! The aroma is very hops aromatic with fine floral and fruity notes. The taste has a soft maltiness that complements the hop aromas nicely, flavors you can find in the taste is such as flowers, tropical fruits, citrus, pine and sweet malt. A really nice and tasty beer!
