Lovely caramel aroma with a slight bit of roastiness and some fresh, piney hops. Feels full and rounded in the mouth. Smooth, full and slightly sweet malts meet with hops that crawl in with a resiny edge and then lift the whole thing up with piney freshness.

Sweet and light roasted aroma of caramel and dark chocolate.

aroma is ice flowery hoppy with sublte grape and pine notes.
flavor is very hoppy, also malty ,somewhat watery (palate) but still a very tasty brew.

Clear amber with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with toasted malt, caramel and plenty of hops. Flavour had loads of hops, pine, grapefruits and toasted malt. Finished quite bitter.Nice one.

Bottled. A hazy red beer with a thin lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of bread, alcohol, malt, and some milk chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, alcohol, citrus, and nuts, leading to a dry woody finish.

Bottled. Burgundy coloured. Unclear. Dense light brown head. Herbal, spiced, flowery and light caramelly aroma. Flavour of herbs, pine, cocoa, flowers, spice. Medium to full bodied. dry bitter and flowery end.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark and hazy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is mild spiced and fruity and mild roasted. Sweet and fruity flavoured, light spiced and slight roated note. Lingering hoppy and spiced flavoured. Smooth and fruity lasting finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear amber with a rough, off-white head. Hoppy aroma with a whiff of caramel and coffee. Solid body, nutty and caramellish with a distinct aromatic bitterness. 231109

Dark dark red colour with a small beige head that leaves some pretty decent lazing. Aroma is mainly fruity (tropical) hops with a disturbing undertone of burnt rubber. Flavour is fruity hops and light fruity malt with a dry rather harsh and bitter ending borderlining chemical. Very bitter for a swedish winter ale but quite tasty. The body is medium full and smooth. Good but with rather harsh edges.

UPDATED: NOV 17, 2009 Bottle (50 cl) from Systembolaget. Clear deep mahogny, medium beige head. Perfumy, citric, and floral hop aroma on a solid caramelly and slightly roasted malt bed. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Too bitter.
