COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Producent: Sigtuna Brygghus.

Pours out in a hazy reddish amber colour with a small creamy off-white head. Hop bitter aroma of wet grass, blonde grapefruit and earth with sweetish undertones of fudge. Medium-bodied with bittersweet notes of fudge, treacle, earth, grass, nut-shells, dried red berries and mild citric fruits. Long medium-bitter finish of fudge, caramel and cookies with strong undertones of grass and earth. I expected a fresh citrousy summer IPA, instead I got a earthy and malty sweet IPA. Should fit summer barbecue, though.

On tap, rated from backlog. Hazy yellow with white head. Aroma of fruits, citrus, pineapple, flowers. Taste is fresh and fruity, pineapple, orange with a nice hop bite.

Bottle at Theis and Mette’s. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a small white head. Dry with some sweetness. Hoppy. Tiny hints of bog myrtle. Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Bitter finish.

(Bottle) Pours hazy (almost cloudy) orange to brownish amber with an off-white head. The aroma holds citrus peels and mild grapefruit juice up front alongside a light burned cookie-like maltiness in the background. I like the perfumey, light floral, tea-like and spicy hop undertones. Hits of apricots, vegetables and maybe some compost. The flavour is light sweet, medium bitter and tiny hop acidic on the finish. Very juicy (yet subtle) with notes of grapefruit, tea and tropical fruits. Hint of sugary caramel, potato starch and cookie-like hints also present. The mouthfeel is juicy, yet a bit hard and vegetal with a soft carbonation. Medium to heavily afterbitterness. Balanced aftertaste of toasted malt and citric hops. Near medium bodied.

Frovigalning (2876) - Örebro, SWEDEN - AUG 29, 2011
UPDATED: JUN 1, 2012 On bottle at Allt om Öl Festivalen in Eskilstuna. It poured a cloudy brown-orange liquid with a small dirty white head. Very nice beer but malty which made me think more of autumn then summer. Re-rated 2012-06-01

pilsnerrogge (2450) - Finspång, SWEDEN - JUN 4, 2010
Bottled:
Pours dark, hazy amber with a frothy head. Butterscotch nose with notes of resiny hops. Flavour starts with sweet butterscotch and a little bit of salty liquorice followed by a long, resiny, harsh bittterness. Could use some balance.

Bottle at ChrisO’s "Raise the Roof" tasting, 31st July 2010. Bright amber. Lots of fresh hops, resin blends into sweet caramel. Floral fresh nose. Rather lovely.

Bottle. Pours a deep thick orange with a small white head. Lovely. Floral and grassy hops in aroma. And malt. The taste is not very different from the aroma. Add some grapefruit bitterness and you get the picture. It has a "dirty" feel to it, with notes of metal. A quite anonymous IPA.

Gr0ve (2127) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 26, 2011
500 ml bottle. Amber coloured. Bold American hops. Citrus and grass. A little sharp, but not even close to its bigger brother, the Extra IPA. Medium-bodied. Fairly high carbonation level. Strong bitterness that lingers. Not a favourite, but still a lot better than the Extra.

finol (2091) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAY 23, 2010
Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours very hazy with some head. Very grassy. The alcohol is to high for a refreshing summer beer.
