COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English translation: Mohawk Unfiltered Lager is a modern Vienna. The soft maltiness comes from the use of Pilsener- Vienna and Munich malt. This is balanced against German hops for bitterness and flavour. The beer is finished similar to an American Pale Ale. Large amounts of US and NZ hops is used for aroma, and even more is added to the lager tanks in dry form. This yields a big fruity and flowery hop aroma to the beer, with emphasis on citrus and tropical fruits. Just like in American craft brewed ales. The beer is finally bottled without filtration. This leaves all those precious aromas and flavours unharmed. The beer may look hazy, but if you leave the bottle alone for a while, the yeast will settle to the bottom. It is a matter of personal preference whether you leave the sediment behind when you pour the beer.

Nisse’s, through Ogi. Poured a hazy golden-amber body, a bit paler than I expected after reading that it was supposed to be a "Vienna" of sorts. Huge off white head too, impressive. Nice tropical fruit, soft malt, and light citrus aroma, vaguely dusty. Mild taste dominated by aroma hops, slightly citric, very very light... apricot? Ok aromatic lager, glad to have tried it!

Bottle, bought @ Systembolaget, Hyltebruk. Pours hazy golden with a fine, staying, creamy, white head. Lots of bubbles actually makes the head rise(!). Aroma has sweet doughy malts, citrus, oranges, light pine. High carbonation, dryish and fairly light mouthfeel. Flavour has good crisp malts, light doughy, some apple zest. Citrus, oranges and light pine hops. Medium bitterness. Nice.

33 cl bottle. Clear golden with a minimal white head. Soft aroma of hops and citrus sence. Light sweet taste with a hoppy end. Not bad, but want more... Hm, and I got more taste at the end.
