(Bottle) Pours amber with an off-white head. The aroma holds toasted/burned cookie-like malt and resinous/citrusy hops up front. Undertones of Christmas nuts, mild canned fruits, dried apricots and flowers. Not phenolic - but some notes of burned plastic is notable. The flavour is light to medium sweet and medium bitter. Orange, grapefruit, resin, cookies, dry caramel, grass, wood and flowers. The mouthfeel is round and clean with a near medium carbonation. Lingering citric afterbitterness. Medium bodied.

Bottle. Amber with a large, firm white head leaving lacing. Aroma: pineapple, toffee, lemonade. Taste: pineapple, citrus, grapefruit, toffee, pepper, medium bitter. The flavour is nice, but a bit thin. Medium bitter with noticeable carbonation. Liked this one more than M vs. Goldings.

I think we all know how tasty a beer with Amarillo hops can be, at least those of us that tried Oppigårds Amarillo Spring last year. Personally I find Amarillo to be one of my favourite hops. But unfortunately this one turned out to be a disappointment, it lacked both hop aroma and bitterness. I also found an off flavour of cheese in the smell. The quality also seems to differ since one of my bottles tasted of dill and wet cardboard. However I hope that was just me being unlucky so the score is from the good bottle I got.

Trevlig humledoft, men alltför tunn och vattnig vätska. Fruktig smak men något kort eftersmak.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Low greyish-blond head. Body is foggy orangey amber. The hop aroma is more resinous and earthy than fruity. I’ve expected a more prominent Amarillo character. Light sweet, light toasted malts in the background. Medium body with a cream-ish texture. Solid hop bitterness, along with a medium sweet, light peppery malt foundation. Some fruity flavoring hops too, but not enough for my likings. Straightforward hop bitter ending. Drinks ok without standing out.

Bottle. Beautiful hazy copper, medium head. Nose is malts, taste is malts, finish is malts with some lingering hops. Disappointing, as I thought this would be a single hop version of the excellent IPA of yesteryear,

Bottle. Golden amber colour with a white head. Citrusy hops with some caramel in the background, also notes of grass, a bit sweet, a faint note of barnyard/smoke.

Pours clear deep copper with a huge beige bubbly head leaving lots of lace. Aroma is malty, caramel, fresh bread and hoppy; nice! Sweet crispy mouthfeel. Acidy, hoppy citric, sweet and fruity flavor. medium body. Fruity nice palate. Finishes fruity sweet and slightly bitter which gets strongel towards the end.
