Aroma: pears, caramel, vanilla, yellow grapes and apricot, spruce needles, a nice acrid depth to it that reminds me of of brewdog paradox sans the whisky.
Flavour: it immediately strikes me as very well balanced. The hops and malt mingle very well and form a unity rather than balanced or unbalanced contrast. Slightly pungent, very fresh and resinous. The malt is not adding much sweetness and yet it manages to add a lot of body – at least given the gravity. The flavour alone probably deserves a 6, but having no annoying qualities at all – a rare thing! – I give it an 8, for this is the kind of beer I could drink every day. The aftertaste reminds me of nettles, onions and nigella seeds, albeit subtly, and finally leaves a very pleasant hop bitterness clinging. There is some vague milkiness going on as well – I would normally have called that sappy, but milky seems more appropriate in this case. I don’t know where it comes from. The alcohol is also doing its work perfectly flavourwise, it adds some heat and pungency and comes as natural with the other flavours as it would’ve done in a good single malt.
Appearance: pretty, ruddy amber with a moderate development of very fine-bubbled yellowish foam.
Palate: oily, slightly frothy, quite fizzy – really clings to your mouth.

courtesy of Per - gusher ... cloudy dark blond beer with a little foam left; hoppy aroma of peaches and apricots; a fair carbonation and medium-bodied; pretty bitter and a decently long fruity hoppy finish

Slutsats: njaaa.

50cl bottle, courtesy of and shared with Gnoff.

Aroma and taste have flavors of caramel, hops and fruits. The aftertaste is a bit dry with some grassy hops. I think this is one of the better beers in the Mohawk series so far. Quite okay!

Cloudy copper to light amber color, slightly darker than the Goldings sister; small head. The aroma presents both some fruity hops (moderate) and some dust; it also has a light earthy character. The mouthfeel is dry, with some dry toffee flavor; the hopping profile is not excessive and it’s quite interesting, with resins, citrus fruits, chamomile and other tea herbs. Dry and bitter finish. Pleasant.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Amber body, medium offwhite head. Aroma of malts and hops, though not as hoppy as expected from the Amarillo. Taste of caramel, raisins, citrus fruits, and a decent bitter finish
