2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of joergen. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Butter and caramel in the nose. Medium-bodied, fruit, a little caramel and a slight tartness. Fairly hoppy if somewhat raw finish. I have absolutely no idea why brewers insist on using East Kent Goldings for a roma as it’s probably one of the least interesting hops of this world. 220311

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled (thanks omhper). Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is fruity and floral, some mild caramelly notes. Flavour is quite much the same, but once it warms up it gets some rather metallic notes as well. Beautifully used hops.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled. Lightly hazy amber, small head. Floral nose. Medium bodied with clean mouthfeel. Butter and crystal malt covered in a thin layer of dusty floral hops. Long salty bitterness. This type of ales with clean, hard malt base requires really aromatic hops to work IMHO.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cloudy copper to light amber color; although it’s highly carbonated, the head formation is small. Huge baking yeast smell, with some dusty hops. Very dry mouthfeel, with vulgar malt and toffee flavor, quite strong bitterness, carrying some resins and some dust.
Very unprecise beer.
