A little bit hazy, dark brown to black. A three finger high beige-brown, fluffy head that leaves a lot of lacing on the #Spigelau Stout Glass.

Nose: Roasted malt, a lot of coffee grain, nuts, molasses, dried fruit, raisin, cocoa and ash.
Taste: Caramel malt, sweet chocolate, vanilla, dark fruit, coffee and a little hint of oak.
Body: Medium to full body. Light carbonated. GReat bitterness. Complex structure. Smooth and soft.

I’ve had this "christmasbeer" several years now and I just say: A beatiful beer!

Big brown head. Opaque black body goes hazy dark brown at edges. Roasty earthy dusty aroma with metallic notes. Dry-sweet roasty earthy toasted rice taste with lacquer and spice notes. Full-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish earthy licorice and toasted rice aftertaste with mealy alcoholic notes. Quite nice, but a bit harsh and dense. (0.33l bottle, from Systembolaget, Torp.)
