COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Black color, brownish creamy head. Strong aroma of roasted malt, with some ashes (too much); some biscuity malts, and quality hops. Smooth mouthfeel; very good flavor of roasted malts, biscuits, some burnt malts, coffee; strong bitterness with a lot of hop resins; long final.
Vibrant, excellent.

Choklad och frukt. Soja, lakrits och krydda. Nästan inget rostat alls? Ser att andra här tycker att den var väldigt bitter men jag kände knappt något beska. Mycket len och lättdrucken.

Pours pitch black with one finger dark-chocolate-like head. Leaves little lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma is mostly roasted and coffee-like. It has also smokiness, herbs and a little fruits. Taste has a lot of coffee, too much in my opinion. Coffee is followed by herbs and roastiness, it is also little burnt. Palate is agressively hoppy and tingly. All in all, this is way too coffee-like and burnt in my opinion, also hoppiness is too rough.

Aroma: Smelling of molasses, dried dates, sweet chocolate, dried peas and smoked meat.
Appearance: A black brown colored beer. A high brown head with some lacing and good curtains.
Taste: Tasting dark roasted bread, cured meat, dates, dark chocolate and bitter peel.
Palate: Medium carbonation, a soft and oily texture. A medium body with a long dry finish.
Overall: Dark, potent, maybe a bit to bitter.
Note: Bottle 500 ml. Reviewed 0000-00-00.

Botella. Deep dark brown close to black colour, medium light brownish head, creamish like. Pleasant well roasted malty swett like aroma with chocolate and dark fruits, bit spice. Good mouthfeel. Flavour has plenty of roasted malt along with chocolate, spice, dark fruit and a pleasant bitterness. Well balanced.

500ml bottle, 2012 edition. Dark brown, almost black, body with a big brown tainted crown. Rye bread, coffee, dark chocolate, soy, orange peel, licorice and dried raisins. Nice strong bitter ending with a touch of dried raisin and fudge. A nice IS from Mohawk, although I prefer Blizzard.
