Very dark, like italian coffee. Roasty smooky smell. Tastes of honey and ashes, bitter and sweet, emobying and selective. A versatile stout suitable for slow sipping in front of the fire or as a meal companion. Why not with salmon or lobster?

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thanks to my Secret Santa blomster for this one!
Pours black with an average tan head.
Roast malt and caramel aroma.
Roast malt flavor. Balanced between bitter and sweet. Not as alcoholic as the Imperial winter porter.
This shows up on the palate more as a dry stout than an imperial.

4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Delicious dark fruity and chocolate aroma! Also some liquor coming through. The mohawk just puts in everything they got every time. Maybe more coffee than chocolate in the taste. Excellent bold beer. Will absolutely have again.

Bottle, bought @ Nordisk Ølhandel, Cph. Pours deep black with a small, staying, creamy, beige head. Aroma has lovely, luscious chocolate, light coffee, softly roasted malts, Nutella. Low carbonation, nice creamy and fat mouthfeel. Flavour has lots of chocolate, vanilla, soft roasted, some coffee, hazelnuts. Softly vinious with more nuttiness in the finish. Nice.
