COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Little nonlasting head. Nose with Lots of chocolate, and a ligthtlicorice, fullbody but surpringsingly not so long. Soft taste with planty of chocko, mocca and dried fruit. Nice but a bit simple.

Very dark, like italian coffee. Roasty smooky smell. Tastes of honey and ashes, bitter and sweet, emobying and selective. A versatile stout suitable for slow sipping in front of the fire or as a meal companion. Why not with salmon or lobster?

Thanks to my Secret Santa blomster for this one! Pours black with an average tan head. Roast malt and caramel aroma. Roast malt flavor. Balanced between bitter and sweet. Not as alcoholic as the Imperial winter porter. This shows up on the palate more as a dry stout than an imperial.

Bottle at ChrisO tasting, thanks to Ronny, 30/12/12. Very dark mahogony brown/light black with a thin tan head that clears to a very small edge piece. Nose is dark chocolate, hops and pine, dark malts. Taste comprises dark malt, sugars, hops, pine, chocolate, light mineral notes. Full end of medium bodied with soft carbonation, bitter roasted in the finish. Decent enough.

Bottle. Colour is dark brown, almost black, with a thick brown head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, some vanilla. Flavour is slightly sweet, roasted, chocolate, coffee, hops. Alcohol is very well hidden in the flavour.

Delicious dark fruity and chocolate aroma! Also some liquor coming through. The mohawk just puts in everything they got every time. Maybe more coffee than chocolate in the taste. Excellent bold beer. Will absolutely have again.
