COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Pours deep black with a small, staying, creamy, beige head. Aroma has lovely, luscious chocolate, light coffee, softly roasted malts, Nutella. Low carbonation, nice creamy and fat mouthfeel. Flavour has lots of chocolate, vanilla, soft roasted, some coffee, hazelnuts. Softly vinious with more nuttiness in the finish. Nice.

Botella. Deep dark brown close to black colour, medium light brownish head, creamish like. Pleasant well roasted malty swett like aroma with chocolate and dark fruits, bit spice. Good mouthfeel. Flavour has plenty of roasted malt along with chocolate, spice, dark fruit and a pleasant bitterness. Well balanced.

500ml bottle - shared via rosenberg - thanks!
Very nice hoppy twang to an otherwise decent roast. I’m thinking "black IPA" here. Lovely rich roast, slight moccha cakeyness. Retronasals are richly roasted, but also nettly hops too. Full and smooth palate pleasat carbonation. Finish roasty, heading towards burnt, but definitely not ashy. There’s a strange sharpness which is a little offputting, otherwise it’s very nice.

Bottle at ChrisO tasting, thanks to Ronny, 30/12/12. Very dark mahogony brown/light black with a thin tan head that clears to a very small edge piece. Nose is dark chocolate, hops and pine, dark malts. Taste comprises dark malt, sugars, hops, pine, chocolate, light mineral notes. Full end of medium bodied with soft carbonation, bitter roasted in the finish. Decent enough.

Rune (7777) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUN 28, 2013
500ml bottle. Pours a near pitch black body under a tan-coloured head, reduced to a remaining layer. Spotty lacing. Rich mid-sweet cocoa aroma as well as moments of dark fruits. Comprehensive taste profile of liquorice, honey, dark fruits, ash and wood. Bitter roasted ending, long-lived. Well bodied. Smooth and surprisingly easy to drink. Perfect night cap (from the hotel bar at Amaranten, Stockholm 21.06.2013).
