COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Riktigt trevlig.

Aroma is dominated of a nice mix of smokey, coffee, and dark choclate, rasins, is there a bit of too. Viny, and caramelly. Flavor had a cofee, vanilla dark choclate mouth feeling. Medium body, and a nice medium coffee fruity finish!

Sample from 50 cl. bottle. Pitch black with a small, tan head. Sweet, roasted aroma with chocolate, a fruity-spicy note. Taste is sweet. Medium to full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Finishes sweet and roasted with chocolate.

Bottle. Dark brown to black with a thick light brown head. Aroma: roasted with a baltic touch, some wet wool. Taste: salmiak, roasted, cocoa powder, fruits (+dried), medium bitter, some citrus, julkalenderchoklad. Vanillin in the finish. Medium bodied, sharp carbonation. This is right up my alley, so was expecting to like it more. I will get one or two for the cellar, and might as well try it another before Christmas.

UPDATED: APR 21, 2013 Bottle, traded with Cunningham. Aroma of dry chocolate, roast and piney hops, some licorice notes and fruity hints. Full, thick body, light sweet taste, deeply roasted flavour. Rather harsh on the palate - it’s so roasted, that it gets tart and results in a strong and rough bitterness. The finish is roasty and hoppy, with notes of coffee and earth. Not too complex and not too smooth but all in all a very good beer.

SlackerMads (1510) - Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 22, 2012
Bottle. Dark brown close to black with a light brown diminishing head. Aroma is roasted malt, dark chocolate, mild coffee and hoppy grapefruit/pineapple/citrus notes. Soft and light creamy mouth feel but quite light body. Taste is licorice, roasted malt, cocoa with a bit of hoppy citrus. A little salt in the finish. Nice and well made but nothing groundbreaking.
